Story
In this work, a multitude of women dance within an almost infinite movement, where bodies, patterns, and gestures repeat until they become a single vibration.
Amid this abundance, one blue silhouette emerges. She does not separate herself from the group, nor does she try to escape it—she dances among the others. Yet her colour alone is enough to transform our perception of the entire composition.
She becomes the one we notice, the one our gaze instinctively returns to. Not because she occupies more space, but simply because she embraces her difference.
Through this work, I explore the moment when the individual emerges from the collective. The blue dancer embodies the part of us that refuses to disappear into the crowd. She reminds us that we do not need to leave the group to remain ourselves, and that a single difference can be enough to transform the way we see everything around it.
