Story
In this work, forest animals move freely through an open space, immersed in deep shades of woodland green.
Devoid of vegetation, the background becomes an open field where forms drift without landmarks, suspended in a dense and silent atmosphere.
The animal figures are built through layered paint and acrylic marker lines, which define their bodies while embracing a sense of fragmentation. Some creatures emerge more distinctly than others, creating moments of contrast and focal points within the almost uniform expanse of green.
The absence of any natural setting heightens a feeling of isolation and displacement, as though these animals exist beyond their native habitat, inhabiting a world that has been altered or transformed.
Through this work, I explore the fragile relationship between living beings and their environment. Suspended between serenity and tension, the composition evokes a delicate balance in which life endures despite the loss of its natural world.
